First Day (night) of School

Late awakening after No Rest Fest last evening, which was well worth the sloth.
Cinnamon chili coffee on the stoop and talk of relativism and pluralism, a fair way to begin the semester.

Relativism is the idea that some elements or aspects of experience or culture are relative to, i.e., dependent on, other elements or aspects.

Pluralism is used, often in different ways, across a wide range of topics to denote a diversity of views, and stands in opposition to one single approach or method of interpretation.

Cosmic pluralism, the plurality of worlds, or simply pluralism, describes the belief in numerous other worlds which harbour extraterrestrial life. The debate over pluralism began as early as the time of Thales ( about 600 BC ) and has continued, in a variety of forms, until the modern era.
